2018/19 ebt season started with regulation renewals
Updated ebt season regulations
According to the fast development in beach handball and the ebt competition the EHF Beach Handball Commission decided renewals concerning the ebt season regulations.
Here is an overview of important changes and adaptions to the regulations:
National Beach Handball Team Week: In the week from 17 to 23 June 2019 no ebt tournament shall take place.
New tournament criteria: Points for proper beach handball uniforms, cheerleaders and additional cameras for live-streaming, etc. might be gained as organiser points.
Nomination EHF referees: For tournaments with more than 250 provisional points, the EHF reserves the right to nominate one EHF referee pair.
Delegate reports: Each head delegate need to send an obligatory written report including photos of the tournament criteria within 3 days after the end of the tournament.
Education courses: From 2020 all ebt tournament organisers can apply to organise courses for new referees, delegates and coaches during their tournament in even years.
Each national handball federation shall provide the list of national observers at the beginning of the ebt season and is obliged to nominate nationals observers to ebt tournaments, if needed. In case of the presence of national observers and EHF delegates at the same tournament, the head delegate of the tournament must be chosen among the EHF officials.
